About the Event
Highly valued by outdoors people for generations for not only their functionality but for the fact that each diamond willow stick has a character all its own. We will meet at Aurora at 1:00pm then drive to location with Diamond willow. Please dress in warm clothes and in winter boots. Once we cut our willow walking sticks, we will head back to Aurora to work on them - debark, sand, varathane and decorate. Feel free to bring your own saw, hatchet and pocket knife but Aurora will provide the other supplies.
This is why it is necessary to have everyone pre-registered byWednesday, Nov 13th so we know how many supplies we need to get together. You can pre-register by E-transferring the cost of the workshop $20 (which covers the costs to make one walking stick) to firstname.lastname@example.org
Please bring a friend too since it will be suitable for all levels. Kids can help too!
