About the event

Julie Fothergill of Northern Naturals is going to hosting this workshop where we will be making Balsam Fir Wreaths out at her workshop at Clearwater Lake.  Julie's family loves to “Bring the Forest Home” by creating home décor items from the forest materials they gather.  They love to share with others the many health benefits our beautiful forest provides and how to sustainably harvested.  They harvest the Balsam Fir and Rose hip branches that we use to make our wreaths, plus they will also show us how they make their essential oils and hydrosols from any of the leftover branches.  They will have these products plus more available for purchase if you are interested.  It proves to be not only a fun-filled afternoon but also a great learning opportunity.

There are TWO workshop times:  9am-12pm and 2-5pm.  Please check with Aurora which time you are registered for.

Note:  If you are registered for this workshop and we have to cancel - we would certainly appreciate that instead of a refund you still support our local businesses with the purchase of a ready-made wreath for an additional $15.

Meeting:  we can meet at Aurora at 8:00am and convoy out to Pioneer Bay, Clearwater Lake together if people chose, or just meet out there is fine too.

Cost:  $25 which can be e-transferred to
