Who is AURORA
Adrianna Sawchyn and Richard Danielson are the Directors of AURORA Sacred Healing and are Resource Tourism Outifitters based out of Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. AURORA is committed to putting our energy and skills towards helping people to lead richer, more fulfilling, more present, and more compassionate, happy lives connected to Mother Earth. AURORA has established cooperative partnerships with not only a variety of Indigenous healing practitioners to provide a wide variety of practices to work the body, mind and spirit, but also with land based outfitters to provide outdoor connections for people. It has been these outdoor Ecotourism connections (eg. canoe / hiking trips), and the Land Based Indigenous education partnerships with First Nation organizations (eg. ice fishing, trapping, or medicine picking activities) that have become the focus of AURORA.
Land Acknowledgment
AURORA Sacred Healing Centre acknowledges that we are located on the original lands of Oji-Cree, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were made on these lands; we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past; and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration. In recognition of the rich history and diversity of our land, we give our thanks.
