WELLNESS AND RETREATS
Mind • Body • Spirit
At Aurora, we believe true wellness comes from nurturing the connection between Mind, Body & Spirit — and that connection is woven into everything we do.
Our wellness programming combines movement, mindfulness, nature and community to create opportunities to move your body, calm your mind, connect with the land and nurture your spirit.
Sometimes that happens on a yoga mat. Sometimes on a forest trail, beside a fire, paddling across a quiet lake, or sharing food and laughter with others.
Wellness doesn’t have to happen within four walls.
🌿 Wellness Retreats
Step away from the demands of everyday life and give yourself permission to slow down.
Aurora’s planned retreats are thoughtfully created around the rhythms of nature and may incorporate yoga, meditation, Reiki, breathwork, journaling, wildcrafting, plant gathering, nature walks, nourishing meals, paddling, fire circles, and quiet reflection on the land.
Come for a day or immerse yourself in a weekend experience.
Come alone or bring someone you love.
You don’t need previous wellness experience — only a willingness to be present.
🧘♀️ Yoga & Meditation
Aurora offers yoga, fitness, mindfulness, and meditation classes designed to make wellness approachable and accessible.
Our practices encourage people to build strength and mobility, breathe more deeply, quiet busy minds, and develop a greater awareness of themselves and the world around them.
Whenever possible, we take our practice outdoors — allowing the forest, water, changing seasons, and northern sky to become part of the experience.
👥 Community Wellness
Wellness also happens when we come together.
Throughout the year, Aurora helps create and host a variety of community events and experiences designed to get people outside, moving, and connecting.
From guided walks and outdoor yoga to paddling, wildcrafting, seasonal gatherings and other community wellness activities, our goal is simple:
➔ Move the Body.
Build strength, mobility, and confidence through movement and outdoor activity.
➔ Calm the Mind.
Create space for mindfulness, reflection, breath, and stillness.
➔ Connect with the Land.
Spend meaningful time outdoors and rediscover our relationship with the natural world.
➔ Nurture the Spirit.
Experience belonging, purpose, creativity, and the powerful medicine of community.
🏕️ Private Retreats & Groups
Aurora can also create customized wellness experiences for friends, families, workplaces, organizations and community groups.
Choose a half-day, full-day, weekend or multi-day experience incorporating activities that support your group’s intentions — whether you’re looking for restoration, celebration, team building, connection, or simply meaningful time together.
🏘️ Stay & Retreat at Heron House
Turn your experience into a restorative getaway with a stay at Heron House, Aurora’s lakeside home base in Cranberry Portage.
Wake beside the water, breathe in the boreal forest and give yourself the rare luxury of having nowhere else you need to be. Come Back to Yourself Whether you join us for a weekly class, community gathering, afternoon experience or immersive retreat, the philosophy remains the same:
Move your body.
Calm your mind.
Connect with the land.
Nurture your spirit.
Because wellness isn’t something we practice only when life becomes difficult. It’s a way of living.
